HT City Presents Kingfisher Pubrockfest 2008

The concept of Pubrockfest was initiated by Rock Street Journal in 2005, when a humble beginning was made with a 4 gig festival featuring 12 bands in Delhi. It marked the beginning of a club rock culture in the Capital, which has sustained beyond the festival.. Last year, Kingfisher Pubrockfest was taken to 7 cities with 30 gigs. This year, it is bigger than ever, going into 20 cities with 60 gigs – over 100 performances, through May, June and July. Kingfisher Pubrockfest this year will see some of the greatest names in the music circuit, along with many new bands and two international bands, namely Aurora Jane & Massive Change (Australia) and Rachelle Van Zanten (Canada), touring the country. .
